Wilderliv is the place to explore the obscure, the unusual and maybe even a bit of the bizarre. Or, a place to get to know well-trampled favourites differently. For the ultra wild cards, check out the 'Gems Worth the Journey' tab; these places might take a bit more effort and grit to get to but they have the Wilderliv seal of approval. HI, I'M LIV

I explore the unusual and obscure when I travel which leads me to find extraordinary people and incredible places. You can usually find me somewhere on the scenic route which mostly leads me from one tale of woe and wonder to another - and this is where my stories come from. Being a full-time chaos magnet and freelance amateur anthropologist, you can expect some juicy tales and tips.

Here you can read about the incredible people I've met, the times when things have gone terribly wrong and I've found myself desperately thinking "Just how am I going to try and explain this?" and all in the name of scratching beneath the surface. Twisted travels? Always.
